Obituary for Randall Max Kitzler

Randall M. “Randy” Kitzler, 60, of LaGrange passed away Tuesday January 12, 2021 at his home from apparent congestive heart failure. He was born March 15, 1960 in Chatham, Ontario, Canada. Randy was a carpenter and owner of Kitzler Construction Inc. for 40 years, a member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ and enjoyed playing hockey and riding his motorcycle. Survivors include his beloved wife of 39 years, Renate (nee-McCurdy); daughter, Robyn (Jason) Dimacchia; son, Randy Kitzler; grandchildren, Arianna, Isabella and MacKenna; mother, Elizabeth Kitzler; brother, Mark Kitzler. He was preceded in death by his father, Max Kitzler and brother, Jim Kitzler. The family will receive friends on Friday January 22, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria. Facial coverings and social distancing are required. Burial will follow at Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.
