Obituary for Donald Carl Seabold

Donald Carl Seabold 70, of Pittsfield passed away Thursday March 28, 2019 at Ames Family Hospice in Westlake following a brief illness. He was born November 30, 1948 in Elyria. Don was a Keystone High School graduate, and had earned the Boy Scout rank of Eagle Scout. He received National Honors from Future Farmers of America, and was a volunteer fire fighter and paramedic in LaGrange and Cleveland. Don was co founder of the ambulance service in LaGrange, and was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Grafton. He loved spending time attending his grandchildren's sporting activities, and enjoyed football. Don was a talented and gifted gardener and landscaper. Survivors include a son; Todd Seabold (Christina) of Old Brooklyn, OH, a daughter; Tracy Seabold of Alexandria, VA., two grandchildren; Steven and Gwyneth Seabold. Additional survivors include a sister; Diane Lewis (James) of Roanoke, VA., four brothers; Terry (Vicky) of Wapakoneta, OH, Jim (Joan) of Grafton, Chris (Gina) of Wellington, Reverend Father John of Grafton. Don was preceded in death by his parents; Donald and Kathryn (nee: Wolf) Seabold, a brother; Carl. The family will receive friends 2-5 PM Sunday March 31, 2019 and 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Monday April 1, 2019 at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church 708 Erie St. Grafton, OH 44044 where a Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM following visitation Monday. Don's brother; The Reverend Father John P. Seabold, will be the Celebrant. Burial will be private at St. Mary Cemetery in Grafton. In lieu of flowers Don' family suggests memorial contributions to The Ronald McDonald House 10415 Euclid Ave. Cleveland, OH 44106 or to Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church.
