Obituary for Albert "Bert" Harvey Lahm

Albert H. “Bert” Lahm , 92, passed away Thursday, July 8, 2021. He was born March 24, 1929 in Lorain. He received his degree from Case Western Reserve University in Architecture. Bert proudly served his Country in the United States Army. He was a 65 year member of Black River Masonic Lodge # 786. Bert along with Evelyn enjoyed retirement at Lakeside, OH. Bert enjoyed giving tours and welcoming friends and family on their porch. Survivors include his wife of 64 years Evelyn (nee Kilbreth); daughter, Debra (Jim) Bickford of N. Ridgeville; grandchildren Michael Collett, Anthony Collett, Jay Duncan, Melissa (Daniel) Mitchell, Christopher (Kristen) Bickford, Matthew Bickford, and Stephen Bickford; several great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Dr. L.C. Lahm and Corinne Lahm; daughter Patricia S. Lahm; granddaughter Amanda Jean Bickford; sisters Betty (Kenneth) Smykl and Mary Jane Thieben. Family will receive friends 4-7 PM Monday, July 12, 2021 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at St. Rt. 57), Elyria 440-322-4626. Burial private.
