My brother's death was very quick. From the day he learned he had cancer to the day he passed was just 10 days. Our family was beyond devastated as we navigated these new waters. We were in no way prepared for all the decisions. Ben made it comfortable and as easy as possible. He was there every step of the way with such compassion and understanding. We were given the time we needed to make these final decisions and to spend time with DJ at the funeral home. Thank you for guiding us through such a difficult journey.

We just wanted to say a BIG thank you especially to Ben Brant and all the others and owners of Laubenthal-Mercado for Ralph’s services. Not only did everything go off without any problems, they took the time to help in every way possible and ease our minds and hearts as they made ALL the arrangements. Ben listened to our ideas and made suggestions so we could expedite the process of choosing at a fair price for a miraculous event. And the owners attended as well. Five stars for sure.

My father's journey with cancer was short and his rapid decline unexpected. In addition, my father did not have his wishes expressed in writing, only voiced, which caused some conflict within the family. Ben helped us navigate the discussion, preparations, and family dynamics with patience, tact, genuine concern, flexibility, and care.

Dick and Bill were with us during the funeral and engaged intermittently throughout the preparations. Their lighthearted humor, wit, respect, and care for our wellbeing took the edge off of an otherwise sensitive time. In the end, we were able to give my dad the respectable farewell he deserved.

My husband died quite unexpectedly and I was at a total loss. I am so thankful to Ben for all his guidance. He led our family through the burial process from beginning to end - explaining everything thoroughly. He understood our wishes completely and saw to every detail. After the funeral he actually hand delivered some further paperwork to our home - going above and beyond for us. We were so fortunate to meet other personnel there and all were so warm and understanding, making our grief a bit easier.

I cannot say enough about how wonderful the staff (Ben) was to me and my daughter when my Mother passed. He made a painful situation be peaceful. Went over and above to ease our pain as my Mom passed during the holidays. I was comforted knowing she was in caring hands. Thank you so kindly.

The staff is kind and the funeral home is clean. I am grateful for thorough answers and guidance after losing my mother.
