Virginia Moore

Virginia Moore, 97, of Grafton passed away Sunday November 12, 2023 at her home following a long illness. She was born August 2, 1926 in Whitwell, TN. And was a Grafton resident since 1950. A homemaker, Virginia enjoyed bowling and traveling. Survivors include her daughter, Carole (Will) Layne; sons, Charles (Marilyn) Moore and Jerry (Karen) Moore; 2 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie in 2013 and a brother, James Layne. There will be no visitation. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday November 16, 2023 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. Elyria. The Rev. Chuck Behrens, Chaplain of Hospice of the Western Reserve will Officiate. Burial will follow at Rockwood Cemetery, Lagrange Township. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Hospice of the Western Reserve 300 East 185th St. Cleveland, OH. 44119.
