Thomas W. Scott

Thomas W. Scott, age 71, passed away on February 1, 2023 at Ames Hospice in Westlake following a long illness. He was born on September 25, 1951 at Bay View Hospital in Bay Village. Thomas graduated from Avon Lake High School. He served in the US Army working on Chinook helicopters before spending over 40 years as a master carpenter for Panzica Construction Company. Thomas enjoyed motorcycles, carpentry, traveling, classic cars, and was an avid Cleveland sports fan. He was always there for those who needed him, and his great character will be missed by those who knew him. Survivors include daughter, Ashley (Eric) Snyder; mother, Kathleen (nee: O’Brien); sisters, Bonnie (Ervin) Chase, Diane (Terry); brothers, David, Terrence (Marilyn); grandchildren, Jayden, Giovanni, Christopher; loving girlfriend, Annette Roll; Uncle Dick Tomanek; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He is preceded in death by his father; Milton Scott. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at 10 AM at Grace Lutheran Church 9685 E. River Road in Elyria. Pastor Robert F. Weldon Sr. officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Brooklyn Heights Cemetery 4700 Broadview Rd. Cleveland, OH 44109.
