Sharon Traxler Obituary

Sharon A. Traxler (nee: Soltis), 51, of Grafton, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 11, 2024 at UH Elyria Medical Center after a long illness. She was born on April 1, 1972 and resided in Elyria, St Petersburg, Florida and Grafton. She graduated from Elyria Catholic High School in 1990. She worked as an insurance administrator for Affiliated FM Global. She dearly loved her husband Erik, her family and in-laws and her dog, Balto. She enjoyed casinos, gambling, rock concerts, golf and NASCAR. Those who knew her describe her as always smiling, altruistic, and loving. Sharon was a beautiful person, a daughter, sister, and spouse. Anyone would be blessed to know her. Anyone that really knew Sharon knows her fearlessness, boldness, strength, gentleness and passion. Her smile was genuine as well as her distinct little laugh. She was thoughtful and full of surprises and gifts wherever she went. Survivors include her husband; Erik; parents, Robert and Ann Soltis; sisters, Michelle Leahy, Susi (Rodd) Schlemmer, Mary (Dana) Mullins, many nieces and nephews, and dog, Balto. She is preceded in death by her sister, Laura Skolnicki. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church 708 Erie Street Grafton, OH 44044 from 10 AM until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. The Reverend Father John P. Seabold, Pastor, will be the Celebrant. A private burial will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions in Sharon’s name can be sent to the American Diabetes Association P.O. Box 7023 Merrifield, VA 22116-7023, the ASPCA Gift Processing Center, P.O.
