Richard G. Walker 82, of Elyria passed away Friday November 17, 2023 at Mercy New Life Hospice Center in Lorain. He was born June 2, 1941 in Litten, TN. Richard had worked as a machine operator at Ridge Tool in Elyria. He enjoyed spending time with family, camping and assorted crafts. Survivors include a daughter; June Lusher of Elyria, a son; Rick Walker (Tracy) of Vermilion. Additional survivors include five grandchildren; Emily Alcorn (Dylan), Tony Lusher (Nicole), Megan Summers (Nathan), Kate Gentry (Will) and Max Walker. Seven great grandchildren with one on the way. Sister, Dixie Botamer (Alan) of Huron, and brother, David Walker of Huron as well as three nieces and one nephew. Richard was preceded in death by his wife of forty eight years; Ellen L. (nee: Spicer), a granddaughter; Madison Walker, his parents; George S. and Lorene (nee: Burgess) Walker, a brother, Dwight Walker and sister, Carol Walker. Funeral services are private and were entrusted to The Laubenthal Mercado Funeral Home of Elyria (440)322-4626.
