Richard P. Resar, Sr., 89, of Grafton, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Richard was born on June 22, 1933 in Elyria to Victor and Agnes Resar (nee: Lord). He owned and operated Resar Tree Service and was a member of The International Union Operating Engineers Local 18. He was a lifelong resident of Grafton. Survivors include his son; Robert (Patti) Resar; brother, Vic Resar; daughter-in-law, Gina Resar; 7 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 9 great-great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by sons; Lenny and Rick Resar. All services are private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in Richard’s name to Friendship APL 8303 Murray Ridge Road, Elyria, OH 44035. Arrangements entrusted to Laubenthal Mercado Funeral Home in Elyria.
