Renee M. (Weiss) Jocke

Renee M. Jocke (nee: Weiss), 69, of Elyria, passed away at her home on Sunday, October 15, 2023. She was born on July 15, 1954 to parents Elmer and Lucille (nee: Weiss). Renee was employed as a receptionist in the accounting industry for many years. She enjoyed relaxing in her swimming pool, spending time at the beach with her family, and traveling to Florida and the Caribbean with her husband. Her granddaughters were her pride and joy. She will be missed by all who knew her. Survivors include her husband, Kenneth; daughter, Danielle (David) Matlock; sister, Sharon Cameron; grandchildren, Rachel and Hannah Matlock, and many close friends. She is preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2023 from 5pm – 7pm at the Laubenthal Mercado Funeral Home 38475 Chestnut Ridge Road (at State Rt 57) in Elyria. Burial will be private. Memorial contributions in Renee’s name can be made to St. Jude’s Childrens Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 or Alzheimer’s Association 225 N.
