Nan L. (Critchfield) Brown

Nan L. Brown, (nee-Critchfield), 80, of LaGrange passed away Thursday May 4, 2023 at University Hospitals Main Campus in Cleveland. She was born August 24, 1942 in Somerset, PA. and was a LaGrange resident for most of her life. Nan worked at St. John Westshore Hospital in Westlake for 30 years, retiring as a floor secretary in 2002. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and animals, especially her horses. Survivors include her daughters, Kathi Howard, Barb Brown (Dan Reuter), Janet Brown and Mary (Robert)Rocawich; grandchildren, Sarah and Collin Howard. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Sam” in 2018, son, Charles Jr. and a brother, Bill Critchfield. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday May 25, 2023 at Evergreen Cemetery, Westlake. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Angel’s Haven Horse Rescue 13297 Durkee Rd. Grafton, OH. 44044. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd., Elyria.
