Matthew Ryan Blansett

Matthew Ryan Blansett,34, of Elyria passed away unexpectedly Sunday, May 15, 2022 at his home. He was born July 30, 1987 in Clovis, New Mexico. Matthew enjoyed Harley Davidson Motorcycles, golfing,  scuba diving, but especially spending time with his family. He was well loved and will be greatly missed by his entire family and friends. Survivors include his fiancee’ Brianne “Brii” Core: the light of his life his daughter Aubreigh; parents, John Sr. and Tammie Blansett (nee Patalon);sister, Jennifer (Dustin) Brumley-Keeling; brothers, John Jr. (Ashley) and Trevor; maternal grandmother, Toni Patalon; paternal grandmother, Betty Sherwood. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Dennis Patalon; paternal grandfather, George Sherwood. Family will receive friends from 1 PM until time of service at 3 PM Saturday, May 21, 2022 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd.
