Lucy Irene (Price) Cutlip

Lucy Irene Cutlip (nee: Price) 87, of Eaton Township passed away Thursday March 9, 2023 at home following a brief illness. She was born February 2, 1936 in Bald Knob, WV.  Irene was a member of North Eaton Baptist Church, she retired from The Ford Motor Company as an inspector.  She loved spending time with family and friends, and enjoyed making floral arrangements, cooking, cake decorating, and various church activities.  Survivors include her loving husband of forty seven years; Randal T., two daughters; Barbara L. Lucas (James) of Bellville, Rebecca S. McClintock (Richard) of Elyria, two sons; Richard A. Fortney of Sheffield Lake, Ronald A. Fortney of Elyria.  Additional survivors include eight grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and a brother; William H. Price (Sarah) of New London.  Irene was preceded in death by a granddaughter; Vanessa Fortney, her parents; William H. and Myrtle (nee: Peters) Price, three sisters; Beulah Cook, Monzella Thomas, Ardala Miller, and a brother; Chester M. Price. The family will receive friends 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM Thursday March 16, 2023 at The Laubenthal Mercado Funeral Home 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. Elyria (440)322-4626 where funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Thursday immediately following visitation. Pastor Mike Feliciano will officiate.
