Cole Lieux, 37, of Vermilion passed away at his home on Thursday September 7, 2023 surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with Cancer. Born August 29, 1986 in Oberlin, Cole attended Elyria High School and Ohio University. He worked as the shipping and recieving Supervisor at Vectron, Inc. in Elyria. The Heart and Soul of a large family, Cole also leaves numerous aunts, uncles and cousins whom he loved dearly. Beloved “Uncle Dolo” to nephew Julian, and nieces Emilia and Jolene, Cole was proud to serve as Godfather to Jolene. An accomplished golfer, poker player, bodysurfer and jokester, Cole had a large circle of lifelong friends, many, if not all, considered him their best friend. Special memories of all the golf trips, spontaneous golf games, card games and watching football and basketball games with his friends at Big Paw’s garage. His family will treasure his memory, his kindness, sense of humor and big heart. He truly was a gentle soul. A special thank you to all of our family and friends for their constant love, support and prayers during this difficult journey. Cole felt your love, which sustained him on a daily basis. A special thank you to all of Cole’s amazing doctors and nurses at the Cleveland Clinic, as well as Crossroads Hospice.
