Donna Lesher Obituary

Donna Jean Lesher (nee Poole), 92, passed away Thursday November 2, 2023 at Main Street Care Center in Avon lake after a prolonged illness. She was born August 10, 1931 in Sistersville, West Virginia and resided in Elyria most of her life. Donna was an amazing homemaker, mother, and wife to Robert L. Lesher, who preceded her in death in 1991. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Gregory Lesher and Robert Lesher; daughters, Glorianne Lahetta, Kimberly Stutt and Suzanne Lusher, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a brother, William Poole. Donna was also preceded in death by her parents, Donald Poole and Opal Patton (nee Christian); brother, John Poole; sisters, Sally Starcher, Ann Nichols, and Marjorie Gibson; grandsons, Jimmy Lahetta and Jeffery Lesher. A funeral procession will assemble at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday November 15, 2023 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd., Elyria to proceed to graveside service at 1:30 p.m. at St. Mary Cemetery 7284 Lake Ave., Elyria. A Celebration of Life luncheon will follow at the Foundry Restaurant, 525 Broad St., Elyria. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
