Christopher A. Machovina

Christopher A. Machovina (age 59) passed into the loving arms of his Savior on May 17, 2022 at his home in Saint Clairsville, OH.  Chris was born and raised in the Elyria, OH where he also met his wife of 40 years, Diana and started their family.  Chris enjoyed spending time with family and friends, tinkering around his property in pajama pants and slippers, shooting anything that went BAM, going for four wheeler rides, and sitting in the woods waiting for the biggest buck to cross his path.  He will be remembered for his ability to fix anything, his humor, wit, and unwavering love for his family. Chris is survived by his wife Diana; his three children, Christopher Jr (Paula), Carrie (Brian Licht) and Cassandra (Gerald Hartzler) and seven grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers Joseph, Edward, Daniel and sister Carol and several beloved nieces, nephews and in-laws. He was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Clara and brother Michael, sister Rose, brother-in-law Bob, and sister-in-law Jenniene.   Family will receive friends Sunday, May 22, 2022 at 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria. Service will follow immediately after visitation. Burial will be private.
