Beverly (Rodgers) Costantino

Beverly 'Bev' Costantino passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Hospice of the Western Reserve on Monday, January 30th, 2023. Bev was a long-time resident of Lorain, Ohio where she resided with her loving husband of 70 years. She was born on November 17th, 1931 in Elyria, Ohio and was a class of 1949 graduate of Elyria High School. Bev was a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother. She spent her most cherished moments with her family, who she adored dearly. She was a phenomenal cook, and known best for her homemade Italian meatballs. Bev's kind heart, and sharp wit will be missed forever. In recent years, Bev enjoyed taking drives to K Cream Korner for a delicious chocolate soda, and enjoyed viewing the Lake at Lakeview Beach in Lorain. Bev is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Frank; daughters, Kathy, and Sharon Costantino; son Chris Costantino (Jill); granddaughters Courtney Craig (Mark), and Meghan Costantino; and grandson Lucas Costantino. Bev was most recently preceded in death by her dear son, Craig Costantino who passed away on Monday, January 23rd, 2023. Bev was also preceded in death by her mother, Alma Rodgers; father, Joseph Rodgers; and brother, Paul Rodgers. Bev received phenomenal care from The Cleveland Clinic Amherst Oncology, and her family is more than grateful for the compassion, and care provided to her over the past year and a half. The family will hold a private ceremony to honor both Bev, and Craig at The Laubenthal Mercado Funeral Home, 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd., Elyria (440)322-4626.
