She was born in Grafton, Ohio on October 27, 1925 to Mr. Arthur C. and Ora Addie Miller and she graduated from Grafton High School class of 1944. Ony was married to Army Air Force Technical Sergeant Theodore Strempel (deceased) on June 30, 1045. They enjoyed spending time together on the waters of Lake Erie at their home on Marblehead, Ohio or in New Smyrna Beach near the ocean. Ony was very active and road her bike 21 miles a day! She also enjoyed fishing, swimming, playing golf, playing cards, reading and spending time with her family. Ony loved a good joke and always took delight in cooking and bird watching. Later in life you could find her enjoying Western Movies from the 1930's & 1940's or watching Cleveland baseball games. The yearly Bartow Family reunion was an event Ony always looked forward to gathering with her extended family and enjoying a day of laughing and fun. Ony is survived by her loving son, Thomas Strempel (Sharon) and loving daughter, Barbara Nelson (Paul-deceased). Ony was preceded in death last year by her daughter, Marilyn Basso. Her children were her most cherished parts of her life who she adored dearly. She was also proud of her grandchildren, Tracy Ricchiuto (Rob), Kathy Leone, Jay Nowak (Zissy), Bob Nowac (deceased), Rebecca Thompson (Marc), Beverly Robson (Dolph), Roger Overstreet, Daniel Overstreet (Patty), Tony Basso, and Philip Basso.
