Wilma Marie Melton (nee: Barger) 93, of Elyria went home to be with the Lord Thursday May 19, 2011. She was born October 12, 1917 in Harriman, TN. Wilma had worked as a Capper for Worthington Ball Co. in Elyria. She had attended Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church in Elyria. Wilma loved spending time with her grandchildren and family, she enjoyed flowers and gardening. Survivors include three daughters; Shirley Norris (Eddie) of Hendersonville, TN., Ruby Fisher of Elyria, Sue Reeves (Tom) of Elyria, a son; Charles "Bud" Melton ( the late Marcia) of LaGrange. Additional survivors include thirteen grandchildren, twenty five great grandchildren, and eight great great grandchildren. Wilma was preceded in death by her husband; George in 1995, her parents; Samuel and Sarah (nee: Smith) Barger, two grandchildren, three sisters and a brother.
