William M. Woodring 82 of N. Olmsted passed away Saturday August 29, 2015 at St. John Westshore Hospital in Westlake following a brief illness with his family by his side. He was born December 18, 1932 in Philipsburg, Pennsylvania. William was a graduate of McKinley High School in Columbus,Ohio. He served his Country in the United States Army during Korea. William was a mason , an avid golfer , and a sports freak. He was well Loved and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Survivors include his former wife Brenda Denney (nee Muncy) of N. Olmsted , daughters Sherri (Bruce) Schneider of Texas , Terri Woodring of Athens , Beverly New of Sheffield Lake , sons Steve New (Lisa) of Conneaut , and Jason (Chris) New of Parma, grandchildren Kelli , Stephen , Justin , Alexis , Autumn , Paige , sister Diane Lochocki of Cincinnati. He was preceded in death by his parents . William and Maude (nee McKitrick) , brother David.
