William E. Wheatley III, 75, of Elyria passed away Wednesday January 2, 2013 at his home following a sudden illness. He was born June 28, 1937 in Lorain and was a lifelong Elyria/Amherst resident. Bill worked in the maintenance department of Lorain National Bank, was a member of the Lorain Elks Lodge #1301, and enjoyed carpentry. Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Eileen (nee-Pearce); sons, Richard Wheatley of Michigan, Jon Wheatley of Newport News, VA. And Jimmy Wheatley of South Carolina; Step-daughter, Jodi Flint of Elyria; step-son, Eric Flint of Elyria; 10 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren. All services will be private.
