William R. Terry 82, of LaGrange passed away at home on Friday January 27, 2017 following a long illness. He was born January 1, 1935 in Mitchell, IN. Bill's greatest enjoyment was to seek God's heart. He was a cofounder of Progressive Processing Inc., and retired in 2004 to enjoy the peace and quiet with nature. Bill loved animals. Survivors include his wife of sixty two years; Myrna K. (nee: Fields), three sons; Bill L. (Shari) of Elyria, Mark A. (Megan) of LaGrange, R. Scott (Sharon) of LaGrange. Additional survivors include eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Bill was preceded in death by his parents; William and Verna (nee: Edwards) Terry, a sister: Etta Faye, and three brothers; Robert, Cecil, and Lewis. The family will receive friends from 5-8 PM Monday January 30, 2017 at The Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57) Elyria (440)322-4626. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday January 31, 2017 at the funeral home. Pastor Andrew Scott of LaGrange United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be at Brookdale Cemetery in Elyria.
