William E. Robson, 81, of LaGrange , passed away peacefully at home on July 23, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease.

Born on October 29, 1943, William was a devoted husband, loving father and proud grandfather. He retired from McVeigh Material Handling in 2012 and was a longtime member of the Elyria Eagles. William enjoyed life as a hobby farmer and found great joy in the outdoors and working with his hands.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Dorothy Robson, with whom he shared 56 wonderful years of marriage, celebrating their anniversary on July 19th. He is also survived by his son, William A. Robson of LaGrange, and daughter-in-law Kristina Robson, originally of Bradenton, FL. William was the proud grandfather of Aleaha Williamson, Emma Williamson, Kaydence Robson and Andrew Robson. He is also survived by his daughters, Josette Robson of Brunswick and Heather Robson of Atlanta, GA., and daughter-in-law, Angie Lehmkuhle.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Genevieve Robson, father, George Robson, cousin, Ted Robson, and uncle, Phil Robson.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday August 3, 2025, from 1:00-4:00 p.m. at the church hall of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church 708 Erie St., Grafton.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the Hospice of the Western Reserve for their compassionate care and support. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve in Williams memory.

William will be remembered for his strength, steady presence, and enduring love for his family. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
