William H. Meltzer, 86, of Elyria passed away Sunday, December 2, 2018 at his residence. William worked for Ridge Tool for 42 years. He enjoyed gardening, growing vegetables, and he helped the needy for over 20 years. William proudly served his Country in the Army.Survivors include his wife of 50 years Emily (nee White); daughter Theresa (Tom) Giese of Grafton; sons Kenneth (Loved by many) of Collins,OH., James (Aldo Alvarez) of Los Angeles, CA.; grandchildren Jessica (Justin) Becker, Jody (Jesse) Kerby, Amanda Giese, Amy Giese, Angela Giese ( Wyatt Kibler), Andrea Giese; great-grandchildren Leah Becker, Parker Kerby, Karagon Kerby, Jack Hennen; sisters Mary Wells of Mt. Gilean,OH., Judy (Don) Pruchnicki of Elyria,; brother Robert of Cardington, OH; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Elizabeth Meltzer (nee Brown); sister Delores McCabe.
