William K. Gerber 80, of Elyria passed away Friday December 11, 2020 at Ames Family Hospice in Westlake following a long illness. He was born December 10, 1940 in Elyria where he was a lifelong resident. Bill was a member of Community of Faith United Church of Christ in Elyria. He enjoyed spending time fishing, hunting, visiting casinos, travel and had coached his son's Little League Baseball team. Survivors include his loving wife of sixty years; Charlene A. (nee: Gang), and a grandson; Andrew W. Gerber (Ashley). Bill was preceded in death by his son; William C. and his parents; Karl and Myrtle (nee: Struck) Gerber. A Celebration of Bill's life will be held at a later. Burial will be private. Memorial contributions in Bill's memory may be sent to Community of Faith United Church of Christ 9715 East River Rd.
