William "Bill" Eugene Sibert Jr., 62, of South Amherst, passed away unexpectedly at his home on January 29, 2022. He was born to Joyce (nee Kazmierczak) and William Sibert Sr. (both deceased) on February 3, 1959. Bill was born in Elyria and raised in Grafton. He attended Midview High School and then went on to work as a carpenter and then became an electrician, with his recent job being at Electrical Accents. Bill enjoyed skiing, pick-up trucks, horses, collecting knives, and his beloved dogs. He is survived by his sisters; Elaine Sibert, Shirley (Robbie) Rowlands; brother, Keith (Joyce) Sibert, Thomas Sibert; several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his sister, Martha Cisman. Family will receive friends from 4 PM to 7 PM Friday, February 11, 2022 at the Laubenthal Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at St Rt. 57), Elyria. (Masks are required) Burial will be held at Nesbett Cemetery at a future date.
