William D. "Bill" Larkin, 78, of LaGrange, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at the Cleveland Clinic Avon Campus after a long illness. He was born on October 30, 1945 in Chicago Heights, Illinois. Bill proudly served his county in the US Army. He worked as a truck driver delivering Pabst Blue Ribbon for many years. He was a member ofTeamsters, Local 571 and 20. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, and spending time with his family. Bill never knew a stranger, and those who knew him will miss his sense of humor. Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Kathleen (nee: Yasher); sons, Jason (Donnamarie) Larkin and Bryan (Dori) Baki; sister, Patricia Choat; three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Ruth; and brother, Dan. Family will receive friends on Thursday, March 7, 2024 from 4 PM until the time of service at 7 PM at the Laubenthal Mercado Funeral Home 38475 Chestnut Ridge Road (at State Route 57) in Elyria where the V.F.W. Post 1079 will perform full military honors. Burial will be held at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville, OH at a later date.
