William P. "Bill", "Buddy" Coughlin III, 57, of North Ridgeville passed away Sunday July 8, 2018 at his home following a long illness. He was born December 1, 1960 in Fort Leonardwood, MO. And lived in the area for most of his life. Bill worked as a maintenance electrician at Alco Manufacturing in Elyria for 20 years, was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church and was a 20 year member of the Oberlin Golf Club where he was a past club champion. Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Joanie (nee-Schneider); son, Colin (Sarah) Coughlin; father, William Paul Coughlin; sisters, Colleen Foster, Maureen Coughlin, Mary Coughlin and Kathy Jaicks. He was preceded in death by his mother, Janet Coughlin. There will be no visitation. A Memorial Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday July 21, 2018 at St. Peter's Catholic Church 35777 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. The Rev. Fr. Andrew Hoover will be the Celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Peter Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN. 38105-1942.
