William F. "Bill" Noveske, 74, of Elyria passed away Tuesday January 27, 2015 at the Cleveland Clinic following a brief illness. He was born August 3, 1940 in Elyria and was a lifelong Elyria resident. Bill has worked at Fligner's Market in Lorain as a produce clerk for the past 11 years. Prior to that he was employed at the A &P and also Apples grocery stores. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Elyria, formerly coached Little League North baseball and enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Eileen (nee-Deruchie); daughters, Jackie (Albert) Zappitelli of Brooklyn, OH. And Jeannie (Chuck) Motylewski of Avon Lake; son, Billy (Jennifer) Noveske of Suffield, OH.; 11 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sisters, Frances Niconowicz of Sheffield Village and Eleanor Davis of Ivydale, WV.. The family will receive friends on Thursday January 29, 2015 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Friday January 30, 2015 at St. Mary Church 320 Middle Ave., Elyria. (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). The Rev. Fr. Charles Diedrick, pastor, will be the Celebrant. Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery, Elyria. Memorial contributions can be made to the St. Mary Church Endowment Fund.
