William A. "Bill" Boesken Sr., age 64, of Carlisle Township, passed away on May 3, 2023. Bill was born on June 7, 1958 to parents George and Dorothy (nee: Jewell) in Cleveland, Ohio. After graduating from Midview High School, he spent over 50 years working in construction, with 15 of them working for Harner Plumbing. Those who knew Bill will remember him for the strong and consistent work ethic he had throughout his life. He was a unique and caring man who adored his family and could fix anything. Bill enjoyed woodworking and listening to classic rock in his spare time. Survivors include his beloved wife of 25 years, Lisa M. (nee: Cummings); daughters, Lindsay (Neal) Hough, Kristin (Craig) Wandra; son, William "Billy" (Heidi); sisters, Margaret "Marge" Collmar, Roberta (Philip) Edwards; brothers, James, George (Lisa); and 10 grandchildren. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 from 4 PM – 7 PM at the Laubenthal Mercado Funeral Home 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57) in Elyria where a funeral service will follow on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at 11 AM. Pastor Arik Borstad from Community of Faith United Church of Christ will officiate. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Avon. In lieu of flowers, Bill's family requests that a tree be planted in his loving memory.
