Wilbert Kenneth Burnsworth 75, of Elyria passed away Friday January 20, 2017 at Elmcroft Nursing Home in Amherst following a lengthy illness. He was born January 1,1942 in Marianna, Pennsylvania. Wilbert worked for Ford Motor Co. for 35 years until his retirement in 1997. He served his Country in the Army. Wilbert was an avid bowler and was inducted into the Lorain Bowling Association Hall of Fame , and was a proud Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Survivors include his son Russell (Jody) of Lorain; grandchildren Shane (Katie), Amber (Gary) Wager, and Taryn Moore; great-grandchildren Connor and Caleb; sister Joanne of Lorain; brothers Jerry of Lorain, and James of Marianna, Pa.He was preceded in death by his wife Marianne (nee Sapp) in 2014; parents Wilbert and Harriett (nee Hartzell); brothers Thomas ,Timothy and John; sister Brenda.
