Walter J. "Bones" Sukey Jr., 63, of LaGrange passed away Friday, November 29, 2019 at his residence. He was born July 10, 1956 in Elyria and was a graduate of Midview High School. Walter was a member of Grafton VFW post # 3341. He enjoyed golfing, bowling where he was inducted into the Elyria Bowling Hall of Fame, he also enjoyed watching all sports, work for the village of LaGrange was very important to him and a source of great pride, and Loved his family and friends. Survivors include his wife Mary (nee White); daughters Sharon (Scott) Pierce, Shaunna (Travis) Haley; son Adam Sukey (Lindsey Sears); 11 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sisters Sandi (Mark) Trenchard, Deb (Pete) Kozura, Lauren Sukey, Cindy Jeffrey. He was preceded in death by his parents Walter Sr. and Dorothy Sukey (nee Kubuski; brothers Mark and Greg. Family will receive friends 4-7 PM Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd.
