Vivian L. "Lucy" Wiser, (nee-Eddy), 76, of Elyria passed away Saturday at St. John Medical Center. She was born January 7, 1947 in Rimersburg, PA. and was an Elyria resident for most of her life. Lucy worked at the Spike and Meckler Law Firm for many years, retiring as the office manager. Following retirement she assisted her husband with floral deliveries for Puffer's Floral Shop. She was a member of the Elyria United Polish Club and enjoyed going to casinos and attending her grandchildren's activities. Survivors include her daughters, Dawn Wiser and Susan (Paul) Scherzer; grandchildren, Bradley and Sarah; sister, Shirley Watson; brothers, Frank and Bill Eddy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rich in 2018 and a sister, Nancy Livelsburger. The family will receive friends 4:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria. Services will be Friday September 22, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. The Rev. Chuck Behrens will Officiate. Burial will be at Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.
