Virginia Swiderski Zaleski, born April 26, 1919 passed away on Good Friday April 2, 2021 at Saint Mary's of the Woods in Avon. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Matthew "Memo Zaleski. Virginia and her husband Memo along with her family were at one time owners and operators of Forest Hills Golf Course and currently owners of Hilliard Lakes Golf Course. She is survived by her daughter, Madelene, and her sons, Alan (Debra), and Ronald, along with her grandchildren Dawn (Kosta), Julie (Aaron), Allison (Jason) and Matthew and her great-grandchildren Dimitri, Johanna and Otto. Virginia was part of a large family including six sisters and one brother, all of whom preceded her in death. All services will be private. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Elyria 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd., Elyria.
