Virginia June Harless (nee: Akers) 89, of Elyria passed away Wednesday September 3, 2014 at UH Medical Center of Elyria following a short illness. She was born June 22, 1925 in Boone Co. West Virginia. Virginia was the hardest working person her family ever knew, and was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and was just a beautiful person. She treasured spending time with her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and enjoyed watching and feeding birds. Survivors include three daughters; Teri Whidden (Jeff) of Amherst, Gaye Smith (Wayne) of LaGrange, Toni Harless of Elyria, a son; Lonnie Harless (Joan) of Bristolville, OH, eight grand children, and five great grandchildren. Virginia was preceded in death by a daughter; Suzzanne Noll (William), her parents; Chester and Daisy Mae (nee: White) Akers, and two brothers; Thomas and William Akers. All services are private.
