Viola Barnes (nee: Wynieski) 87, of Elyria passed away Monday September 16, 2013 at Center Ridge Health Campus in North Ridgeville following a short illness. She was born April 27, 1926 in Elyria. Viola was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, and formerly Holy Cross Catholic Church. Viola enjoyed instant lottery tickets, listening to Cleveland sports teams, especially the Indians. Survivors include her niece and caregiver; Debbie Schoditsch (Frank) of Elyria, niece; Julia Taylor (Shane) of North Ridgeville, a nephew; Robert W. Wynieski (Arty) of LaGrange. Viola was preceded in death by her husband; Richard A. Barnes, her parents; Walter and Mary (nee: Rice) Wynieski, a sister; Elizabeth Milasky, seven brothers; Rudy, Walter, Frank "Cherry", Anthony "Ollie", Pete, Edward, Stanley.
