Victor "Jerry" Meecha 75 of Elyria passed away Monday April 27, 2015 at the O'Neill Healthcare Center of North Ridgeville. He was born December 3, 1939 in North Ridgeville and was a 1958 graduate of Elyria Catholic High School. Jerry was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Elyria , Polish Club of Elyria , and American Legion of Elyria. He served his Country in the United States Army. Jerry enjoyed playing cards , played basketball , and was a great sports enthusiast. Survivors include 4 sisters Evelyn Boals of Elyria , Catherine Forthofer of Avon , Marlene Horner of Vermillion , Joan (James) Payne of Elyria , 1 brother Daniel (kay) of Elyria , many nieces , nephews , great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Victor S. and Cecelia ( nee Blaser) , sister Loretta Stanko and brother Albert.
