Victor Brian Clickner 71, of Sheffield Village passed away Thursday January 25, 2018 at UH Parma Medical Center following a long illness. He was born November 7, 1946 in Enid, OK. Victor served in the U.S. Navy. Victor loved to cook,, was an avid diver and enjoyed fishing, gardening and camping. Survivors include his wife of twenty five years; Patricia A. (nee: Cottrell), a daughter; Kara Elizabeth Ortiz (Matthew) of Elyria, three sons; Jeremy John of Avon, Sean Michael (Kathryn) of Ashville, NC., Ryan Christopher Post of Elyria. Additional survivors include nine grandchildren, two sisters; Susan Benko (Terry) of Westlake, Beverly Haynes (Bill) of Avon, a brother; David (Debbie) of Odessa, FL. Victor was preceded in death by his parents; Eddie Alfred and Rita Constance (nee: Bilodeau) Clickner. The family will receive friends 4-7 PM Monday January 29, 2018 at The Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57) Elyria (440)322-4626 where funeral services will be at 7:00 PM. Reverend Father Frank P. Kosem, Pastor of St. Jude Church will officiate. V.F.W. Post# 1079 will provide full military honors. Burial will be private.
