Vernon R. Ellingsworth, 72, of Elyria passed away Wednesday June 28, 2023 at his home following a long illness surrounded by his loving wife, daughter and son-in-law. He was born October 18, 1950. Vernon was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Alice Ellingsworth, 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Survivors include his wife of 13 years, Cheryl; son, Erik (Julie) Ellingsworth; daughter, Amy (Greg) Thomas; step-sons, Jason (Tanya) Pallardy and Joshua (Carrie) Pallardy; grandchildren, Rachel and Sara Thomas and Isabella, Ian and Lee Pallardy; sister, Donna Belotti; brothers, Dyo and Roy Ellingsworth. He proudly worked at the Ford Motor Company in Brookpark for 44 years, and enjoyed to fish, his cars and trucks, camping and anything Ohio State. Friends and family will be received for a Celebration of his Life on Friday August 18th, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Wellington First United Methodist Church 127 Park place, Wellington, OH. 44090. His beloved friend, Rev. Hyeran Lee Yu will Officiate. Please join the family for a luncheon afterward at the church afterwards.
