Vanessa E. Katz, (nee-Yvonne D. Shoemaker), 72, of Elyria passed away Thursday July 22, 2021. She was born August 1, 1948 in Dayton, spent her career as a Registered Nurse and also a Social Worker and loved animals. Survivors include her husband, James "Jim" Minnery; daughters, Jennifer and Valerie; grandchildren, Jared, Shelby and Brennan and great-grandchild, Evan. All services and burial will be private.
