Todd A. Singer 44, of Elyria passed away unexpectedly Wednesday August 28, 2013 at EMH Healthcare in Elyria. He was born in Elyria on October 14, 1968. Todd was a 1987 Elyria High School graduate; he earned a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from The University of Akron. Todd worked for Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems as an Engineer in the Research and Development Department. He loved family vacations, camping, hiking, and various outdoor activities. Todd was also an avid Pittsburg Steelers fan. Survivors include his parents; Cliff and Carol (nee: Knipper) Singer of Elyria, his girlfriend; Linda J. Burns of North Olmsted, a sister; Patricia K. Hopkins of LaGrange, a brother; Jeffrey M. Singer (Laura) of Elyria, additional survivors include three nieces; Jessica, Brittany, Heather, three nephews; Brian, Michael, Sean and was a great uncle of two; Courtney and Ryan. Todd was preceded in death by a sister; Joanne R. Singer.
