Timothy Phillip Venturella

Timothy P. Venturella, 62, passed away on May 12, 2026, after a long illness. He was born January 16, 1964, to Dorothy and Phillip Venturella.

Tim truly had motor oil in his blood. He loved cars, trucks, building model cars, collecting Hot Wheels, and attending car shows. He was a proud member of the Mid-Ohio Mopar Club, American Truck Historical Club, and the LaGrange Engine Club. Tim worked in the parts department at Sunnyside Chevrolet.

He is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife, Debbie Baldauf Venturella, whom he met over a pop rivet gun at JVS in 1982; his sisters, Debbie Venturella and Cherie (Mike) Mayne; his niece, Erin Leiby; and great-nephew, Ethan Leiby, who shared his love of cars.

A Memorial Service for Tim will be at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday June 6, 2026 at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd., Elyria.

The Rev. Chuck Behrens will Officiate.

Those attending the memorial are encouraged to drive their favorite hot rod and wear their favorite car attire in Tim’s honor.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lorain County APL, as Tim had a special love for animals, especially cats.
