Timothy R. Plas, 52, of Elyria passed away Sunday December 3, 2017 at University Hospitals Main Campus in Cleveland following an apparent heart attack. He was born November 12, 1965 in Eugene, OR. And was a Elyria resident for most of his life. Tim was employed as an engineer at American Augers in West Salem, was a member of the Studebaker Automobile Club and was an all around fix-it guy. Survivors include his wife of 13 years, Joyce (nee-Buckland); step-daughter, Brandie Green; step-son Robert (Keota) Green; mother, Patricia Plas; sister, Mary Kathrine Plas; niece, Tricia Rose Plas; In-Laws, David and Sandra Buckland. He was preceded in death by his father, David Plas in 2015. A Memorial Service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Monday December 11, 2017 at the Sugar Ridge Baptist Church 36600 Sugar Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. Pastor Michael Matevich will Officiate. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Specialists 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd., Elyria.
