Timothy A. Murphy 54, of Elyria passed away in a work related accident on Saturday May 9, 2015. He was born October 23, 1960 in Elyria, and was a 1979 Elyria High School graduate. Tim treasured spending time with his family; he loved his dogs and animals. He enjoyed boating, hunting, and doing yard work. Tim had a great sense of humor and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Survivors include his best friend and the love of his life; Sherry Hyder of Elyria, his mother; Kathleen Murphy (nee: Bauer) of Elyria, two daughters; Jessica Mixon (Cullen) Anchorage, AK, Staci Murphy of Norwalk, three sons; Joshua Murphy of Cleveland, Jacob Murphy (Kaitlyn) of Avon Lake, Drew Murphy of Elyria, two brothers; Patrick Murphy (Teresa) of Elyria, Michael Murphy (Dawn) of Houston, TX., and five grandchildren. Tim was preceded in death by his father; Donald L. Murphy.
