Timothy Jude Kirkbride, 70, of Duluth, GA. And formerly of Elyria, passed away July 8, 2023. Mr. Kirkbride was born November 4, 1952 in Elyria. He attended St. Mary Elementary School, was a graduate of Elyria Catholic High School, and earned an Associate Degree in Engineering from Lorain County Community College. He was employed by Elyria Memorial Hospital (now U.H.-Elyria), E.H. Roberts Company, Johnson Controls and finally Honeywell from which he retired. Tim also served in the United States Air Force. Survivors include his wife, Debra Kirkbride (nee-Elliott); children, Sara Jane Oliver of Brookhaven, GA, Erin Marie (Juan) Cordova of Lawrenceville, GA. And Timothy Jude (Ellie) Kirkbride II of St. Cloud, FL.; grandchildren, Donovan Cordova, Cecilia Tavarez, Lisette Tavarez, Olivia Kirkbride and Donnie Kirkbride; sisters, Mary Clare (Mark) Fildes of Poland, OH. and Kathy "Kit" Kirkbride of Elyria. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald B. and Marian J. (Gurney) Kirkbride; brothers, Donald P. Kirkbride and Denis J. Kirkbride; and a sister, Marian "Jane " Kirkbride. Funeral services were held at Bill Head Funeral Homes Duluth Chapel. Interment was at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton GA.
