"Big Dog" Graham of Wellington passed away Monday December 12, 2016 at University Hospitals Cleveland. He was born January 20, 1953 in Elyria to Ralph and Gladys Graham and graduated in 1971 from Elyria High School where he participated in football, baseball, basketball and was a member of the National Honor Society. He never lost his love for sports and was a referee for Elyria Parks and Recreation as well as a huge fan of all EHS and Wellington sports from football, baseball and basketball to girls volleyball, tennis and softball, all of which his daughters and children of his many friends participated. Tim was also a strong supporter of Lorain County 4H. He started his own business, Wellington Party Center that grew to include The Dog Tracks Diner and Big Dog Catering. He loved to be amongst people and had friends everywhere he went. It seemed he never forgot a face or a name. He is survived by his three daughters, Kirstin (Rob) Manholt of Elyria, Allison Graham of Elyria and Megan Graham of Wellington; sister, Cathy Rosbough of North Ridgeville, brothers, Mike (Karen) Graham of Elyria and 1st Sergeant Barry (Anita) Graham of Elyria; grandchildren, Skylar, Lukas and Paisley, and his former wife Kathleen. He is also survived by a multitude of great friends who will miss him dearly. For more information about Tim's life please see the Chronicle Telegram story published on December 14, 2016. Memorial contributions may be made to the Tim "Big Dog" Graham Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o Elyria City Schools Treasurer, 42101 Griswold Rd. Elyria, or the Tim "Big Dog" Graham Memorial Scholarship Fund to benefit Wellington youth and high School athletics. Donations can be made at any Firstmerit Bank branch. All are invited to Tim's Memorial Service on Saturday January 7, 2017 starting at 1:00 p.m. in downtown Wellington. There will be a procession from the Wellington Police Department to the Lorain County Fair Grounds, where there will be a memorial service followed by a meal and celebration of Tim's life. Please feel welcome to bring stories and mementos to share. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Elyria 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd., Elyria.
