Timothy L "Timmy" Garn

Timmy was born November 25, 1966. He sadly passed away August 23, 2026. He had a cat to which he loved named Bobby, and four kids, three living Katie Garn, Kimberly Mae Garn, and Timmy Garn, and one deceased, Curtis Lee Garn. He was one of the best welders in the area, and had a hobby of catching snakes, turtles and frogs. He was funny and a good father and son. Timmy's mother is Ina Lorain Garn, and his father whom passed Elmer Glendon Garn (Bill). Timmy has 4 siblings; Billy Garn, Kevin Garn, Jeannette Spooner, and Tracy Lacko. Timmy had many nieces and nephews and cousins whom loved him. Timmy was preceded in death by his uncle Willam Thomas Garn, Herbie Weese, Harld Weese, Thelma Garn, Wilma Garn, Ethel Zirkle, and Ecky Merion.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 27, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. at Laubenthal Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services 38475 Chestnut Ridge Road (at State Route 57) in Elyria. Reverend David T. Hill, pastor of The First Church in Oberlin, UCC will officiate. Burial will immediately follow at Brookdale Cemetery in Elyria. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Timmy’s name can be sent to the family in c/o the funeral home.
