Timothy C. Court, age 71, previously of Elyria, passed away July 10, 2023 after a yearlong battle with his 2nd bout of cancer. His beloved wife of 38 years, Diane (Nee: Fesler), was with him in his final hours. He was born October 9, 1951 in Elyria, Ohio. He was a well-known bartender for many years in Elyria & had a following of customers that enjoyed his great personality & joke telling. He also held various warehouse supervisor jobs prior to his early retirement. He enjoyed fishing on Lake Erie with his dad & loved to eat the fried perch & baked walleye that his mom made with her special recipes. He liked singing bass in an Elyria barbershop quartet for a number of years & loved listening to classic rock. He was an avid fan of the Cleveland Guardians & Browns, OSU football & NASCAR. He enjoyed gardening & watching the birds & especially the hummingbirds in the feeders on the deck. He is survived by his beloved wife, Diane (Nee: Fesler), sister, Cindy (Greg), brothers-in-law, Ken (Heather), Scott (Donna) & Jeff, Aunt Gladys & nieces, nephews, cousins & their children & many great friends that all loved his kind nature & sense of humor. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert & Frances (Coil), brother, Robert (Kathe), mother-in-law, Doreen & aunts, uncles & cousins. The family will receive friends Sunday, July 23, 2023 at the Laubenthal Mercado Funeral Home, 38475 Chestnut Ridge Road (at State Rt. 57) Elyria, OH 44035 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM where there will be a time for sharing memories starting at 2:30 PM.
