Timothy Allan Anderson, 73, of Elyria passed away Sunday, September 6, 2020 in Granger Twp. He was born June 2, 1947 in Elyria. Tim was a fireman for the Elyria Fire Department and a policeman for the Amherst Police Department. He proudly served his Country in the United States Navy during Vietnam. Tim was a member of VFW post # 1079, Lorain County Casters, and Green Valley Outing Club. He enjoyed fishing and camping. Survivors include his daughter Michelle Anderson of Elyria; granddaughter Alana Laviena; sister Linda (Leigh) Kindle of Elyria; brothers Jeff of Pennsylvania, Greg (Mary) of Elyria; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Cynthia (nee Kinney) in 2006; parents Roger and Marjorie Anderson (nee Brackley); great niece and great nephew. Family will receive friends 10AM in the Weigand Room until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM Monday, September 14, 2020 at St. Mary 320 Middle Ave. Elyria, OH. 44035(per CDC guidelines social distancing will be observed),. MASKS ARE REQUIRED. Rev. Fr. Charles Diedrick pastor will be the Celebrant. Burial St. Mary (Elyria), where full military honors will be given by VFW post # 1079.
