Tim R. Haury, 73, of Grafton passed away Saturday November 12, 2016 at UH Elyria Medical Center. He was born August 15, 1943 in Elyria and was a lifelong Elyria area resident. Tim was a 1961 Elyria High School graduate, a 1966 graduate of the University of Akron and served in the United States Air Force. Following his discharge from the service, he joined the family business, H&H Auto Parts in Elyria where he worked for 46 years, retiring as the owner in 2014. He was formerly active with the Elyria Evening Lions Club and was a member of the Elyria Elks Lodge #465. Tim was a co-founder of the Patriots Community Band and served as its director from 1979 until 1994. Survivors include his wife, Jenifer Klein and their 4 dogs; daughter, Deborah Haury; granddaughter, Karen Murray; nieces and nephews, Rick (Susan) Haury, Michael Janice) Haury, Glenn Haury and Brenda Heisler. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clete and Bea Haury, brother, Ted Haury and a niece, Glenda Haury. The family will receive friends on Wednesday 3:00-7:00 p.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria. Friends will also be received on Thursday November 17, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Services at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral Home. The Rev. Michael Haury will Officiate. Burial will be private.
